Quality of Education: Social Differences and Signals at the Labour Market This research investigates differences of education quality and of investment in human capital of different social groups in modern Russia, requirement to education quality from consumers and employers, social and economic determinants of different quality education accessibility, demand for it on the labour market. Social policy measures promoting decrease of inequality in education accessibility, voucherization of education and educational credits are discussed.

Family Strategies and Labor Market Behavior Poor in Russia are mainly families with children mostly because of the unemployment or inactivity of a parent. This project is aimed at revealing typical models of demographic and labor market behavior and understanding how decisions regarding family formation and labor force participation are synchronized at the household level.

Institutional Reforms of Pension Systems in Central Asia: Impact on Poverty Reduction Project will analyze how reforming pension systems in Central Asian republics can contribute to reduction of poverty in the region. Relationship between types of pension schemes, and poverty indexes will be investigated through econometric analysis. New pension system, aimed at achieving higher economic growth and poverty reduction, will be proposed.

The evaluation of key determinants of health in Ukraine in the context of structural and quality-enhancing reforms Sound panel data analysis both on the macro and micro levels intends to define key macro and micro determinants of health of the population and quality of health services.
